Hosted by the darling of Joburg high society, Miss Aurelia Letitia Oppenheimer, the evening promises to be a glittering affair of philanthropy and excess. But beneath the silk, pearls, and polite conversation, something sinister is brewing.
Tragedy strikes before the starters have even been served. After excusing herself, claiming she was feeling unwell, Miss Aurelia is found dead in the powder room.
The doors are locked. The authorities are on their way. And the murderer is still in the room.

The Welcome Reception:
A sparkling toast upon arrival, accompanied by a lavish harvest table featuring devilled eggs, stuffed celery, and an artisanal bread service with bespoke salts and fragrant dukkah.
The First Course:
A choice of: Rich Lobster Bisque or Velvety Parsnip & Celery Root Bisque.
The Main Event:
A choice of: Cranberry-Orange Roast Duck or Sole Meunière (both served alongside elegant Duchess potatoes and your choice of asparagus or Stella green beans) or The vegetarian ‘Green Goddess’ Roast Potatoes & Asparagus Bowl.
The Grand Finale:
A choice of: Classic Pineapple Upside-Down Cake or Lemon Meringue Icebox Cake.

Whether you arrive as a sophisticated socialite in silk and pearls, a ruthless diamond magnate in a bespoke suit, a classic 1920s flapper ready for a party, or a hardboiled detective in a trusty trench coat, ensure your outfit is ready for a night of high-stakes deduction.
Tonight is all about dressing up, having fun, and stepping into the mystery.
FROM GALA GUEST TO DETECTIVE
The doors are locked. The authorities are delayed. You were there as part of the elite guest list. Now, over a decadent dinner, your table must solve the crime.
The Evidence: Analyse the society gossip columns, review Miss Aurelia’s private correspondence, and examine the physical clues recovered from the powder room to determine exactly how she died, and who is responsible.
The Goal: Solve the murder of Miss Aurelia Oppenheimer before the killer slips away into the Johannesburg night.
